I tried the snout no pull style, and my dog hated it. I was also worried that if she lunged all of a suddenly, it could seriously hurt her neck. Then I tried the under arm style...but I had to pull up on the leash to get it to 'pinch' her armpits....and that was very tiring, and did not make...

Most of my friends avow by the Easy Walker. I like a Halti. Others prefer a gentle leader.
When your dog is pulling stop. Don't add him to make any forward progress by dragging you....
